The Tungsten City Hills is a good place to go rock climbing, shooting, or exploring. There are many abandoned mines, as well as some that are still being worked on an irregular basis. It's probably best to stay away from the mines; the abandoned ones are unsafe, and the active ones are on private property, so you'd be trespassing to get to them. The last time I was visiting Tungsten City with my dad, some crank with a big pistol on the front seat of his truck tried to tell us we weren't allowed in the area, even though we were on a public road.
